The club's managing director believes the German Football League's hygiene regiments are working as is intended.

Two players and one employee from FC Cologne have tested positive for Covid-19, raising questions about whether the Bundesliga will be able to resume play fairly and safely on its otherwise green-lighted resumption date.

The Bundesliga could become the first league in Europe to reconvene on 16th May and in preparation clubs have started testing their players for Covid-19. However, some have criticised football for valuing profit over health and claim now is too early to resume.
