With a 7-1 defeat by Doncaster last night and just a single win from 14 league matches, Southend United are in terrible form.

Currently, Southend are placed second to last in League One with five points - seven points behind Tranmere Rovers, who play on the preferred side of the relegation zone.

Southend have been without a manager since Kevin Bond left in September, following a run of six defeats.
