Preston North End appoint owner’s son as new chairman

Craig Hemmings, son of Preston North End’s owner, Trevor Hemmings, has been made chairman of the board.
The Lilywhites have operated without a chairman in recent seasons.
Craig Hemmings has been made the new chairman at Preston North End. The 57-year-old has attended the club’s senior management meetings during recent years, representing the owner, and his father, Trevor Hemmings’ interests.
Craig sits on the board of a number of other Hemmings family businesses, including their hotel group, as well as acting as a non-executive director of other private leisure businesses.
