Owners offer to buy out other shareholders in Bristol City

Photo: Getty Images Bristol achieved their best placement in the Championship in 11 years last season, when they finished in eighth place.

Steve and Maggie Lansdown, the club's owners, already hold almost all of Bristol's shares.

They have overseen massive investment in the club in recent years, with a redevelopment of the club's stadium being completed in 2016 and a new training facility on the way.

Bristol City's owners have made an offer to the club's shareholders to purchase their shares in an attempt to increase their ownership in the Robins. 

Pula Sport Limited, the holding company through which Steve and Maggie Lansdown purchased Bristol City, currently owns 97 per cent of the club.
