Ligue 1's new broadcaster partners with French commercial channel

Mediapro has agreed a deal with French commercial broadcaster TF1 to utilise the firm's domestic popularity.
Furthermore, Mediapro's new subscription channel will take name after TF1's famous Telefoot football magazine programme.
Chinese-Spanish owned Mediapro, the new broadcaster of Ligue 1 and 2, has partnered with French commercial channel TF1 in a deal that will see the firm utilise its new partner's historic domestic popularity.
Accordingly, Mediapro's new pay-television service in France will be named after TF1's famous Telefoot football magazine programme which was launched in 1977.
