Ligue 1 set to be cancelled: PSG's president says club will play remaining Champions League matches abroad if necessary

Elite sport in France has been suspended until September, but PSG remain committed to finishing their Champions League run.
President of Olympique Lyonnais has proposed completing the Ligue 1 campaign through play-offs.
PSG respect the decision of the French government to suspend elite sport in the country until September but remain committed to finishing the Champions League and will play their matches abroad if necessary, according to the club's president, Nasser al-Khelaifi.
French prime minister Edouard Philippe on Tuesday announced "big sporting affairs" including professional football would not be allowed to return before September, meaning the current Ligue 1 campaign is set to be cancelled - pending an official decision by the French Football League (LFP).
