Former club captain Mark Hudson has signed a new contract with Huddersfield town to stay as first team coach.

Mark Hudson has committed his future to Huddersfield Town by signing a new contract with the club. The former club captain stepped into a coaching role with the academy on his retirement from playing in August 2017, going on to lead the Under-19 and Elite Development Team.

He’s rightly a well-respected figure around the club and he’s become an important part of my coaching team

He took caretaker charge of the senior side on David Wagner’s departure for one game before becoming first team coach under new Head Coach Jan Siewert in January 2019.
