Huddersfield hire head of football operations with elite European background

Photo: Getty Images David Webb joins Huddersfield Town from the Swedish side Östersunds FK. Webb becomes the fifth key person leaving Östersunds FK for a top job in English football within a year.

Huddersfield Town have appointed David Webb as their new head of football operations.

Webb will work closely with the head coach, Jan Siewert, and report directly to the board.

Webb has previously been employed in Sweden, Germany and Spain.

Huddersfield Town have appointed David Webb as their new head of football operations. Webb is currently employed by the Swedish side Östersunds FK in a role as technical director, a role he will keep until 19th August 2019. 

As head of football operations at Huddersfield, Webb will work closely with the head coach, Jan Siewert, and head of recruitment, Josh Marsh, and report directly to the board on a wide range of matters, including recruitment, performance, scouting, analysis, sports science, medicine, and the academy.
