Huddersfield are in the hands of the EFL ahead of Hodgkinson’s takeover

Photo: Huddersfield Town Phil Hodgkinson’s takeover of Huddersfield Town was announced prior to the club’s final home game of the season, but the takeover is yet to be completed. 

After officially becoming an EFL club, Huddersfield Town are “in the hands of EFL” ahead of Hodgkinson’s takeover.

The club emphasise that decisions are still being made despite the ownership being in limbo.

Phil Hodgkinson’s takeover of Huddersfield Town was announced prior to the club’s final home game of the season, but the takeover is yet to be completed. 

After officially becoming an EFL club last Friday at the AGM conference in Portugal, Chief Executive Julian Winter gives an update on the takeover.
