The Reds’ boss, Martin O’Neill, has been out to Greece to meet the club’s owner, Evangelos Marinakis, and to see the Olympiacos stadium and training ground, a club which Marinakis also owns.

Marinakis is keen to deliver a Premier League-quality stadium at the City Ground - with redevelopment work set to begin this time next year - as well as to help Forest secure topflight football to play there.
