Forest try to match or improve shirt deal with successful bookmaker

Talks with 888 to replace BetBright - a solution could be in place within a few weeks.

Forest also revealed that season ticket sales capped at 20,000 amid stadium redevelopment plans.

Nottingham Forest are in ongoing discussions with 888 Holdings about a new shirt sponsorship after the gambling group bought out BetBright in a £15 million deal.

The terms of a new sponsorship deal could yet be announced later this week as 888 continues the integration of BetBright’s sports book into its business following last week’s acquisition.

There are no immediate financial implications of the sponsorship ending. BetBright signage remains at the City Ground stadium.
