Ex Granada president wants to retake control of the club

John Jiang says he expects to return to the management of Granada CF "very soon" in an interview with offthepitch.com.

Club owner DDMC denies it is negotiating with Jiang for his return.

The Chinese marketing executive paid €37 million for the LaLiga club in 2016 but was replaced as president in September.

Jiang has established Hope Group to manage his stakes in two football clubs and investments combining sport with other industries ahead of a predicted football boom in China.
