European Club Association expects ten per cent increase in wage-to-revenue ratio due to coronavirus

On a Europe-wide level, clubs are expected to lose up to a collective €4 billion in revenue for this season and the next.
In addition, EBITDA excluding transfers is expected to drop by €3.1 billion.
Though most European leagues have returned to play, the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic will be strong and lasting, according to the European Club Association (ECA).
In a just-published report, the ECA outlines the financial impact of Covid-19 on clubs from the European top divisions, and the findings are not pretty.
