Having been criticised for making a decision Serie A clubs did not agree with, Gravina asked whether cultural differences also plays a factor.

The president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), Gabriele Gravina, has responded to criticism regarding the governance model of the Serie A. 

Gravina's comments come after Inter Milan's chief executive, Giuseppe Marotta, last week said the Serie A should replicate the governance of the Premier League following a rejection of the league's proposal of how to decide the season if it was cancelled again due to the coronavirus pandemic.
