Barcelona's new strategy to make digital one of their biggest income sources

The new fan-centred strategy aims to create a variety of fresh club content, products and services to attract a global audience.

Barcelona have revealed an ambitious new strategy which - by adopting a fan-centred approach - aims to make their digital business one of their biggest sources of income. 

The strategy is in line with what the club's director in the Asia-Pacific region told early last year. He described moving away from the traditional fan segmentation model to a model disregarding the target audience's background.
