Threat of FFP breach weighed down Championship January spending

The spending this winter was the second lowest of the past five January transfer windows.
Many clubs are on the brink of breaching the EFL's Financial Fair Play regulations and therefore cannot spend excessively.
Fulham, appearing to go against the trend, accounted for 67 per cent of the league's total spending.
