Burnley's charity hires chief executive after Huddersfield snub

Getty Images | The charity's previous chief executive, Neil Hart, was hired as Huddersfield's new CEO in December, but just six days after an announcement was made, he left to assume the role of chief executive at Burnley Football Club because their man in charge left to lead the EFL.

Burnley FC in the Community has hired Dr Sara Ward, currently the dean of academic studies at University Academy 92 in Manchester, as its new chief executive.

The charity's previous chief executive was hired by Huddersfield to become their new CEO, but then resigned less than a week after the announcement to take charge at Burnley Football Club.
