Search is over: EFL announce Burnley CEO as new Chief Executive

The chairman at EFL stresses David Baldwins ability to build and grow relationships. At Burnley Baldwin was famous for delivering brilliant financial results – amongst the best in the Premier League if you look at profitability.

Baldwin, who also had a fine record as CEO at Bradford, underlines that he wants to build an sustainable league.

Burnley Chairman Mike Garlick will take the role as Executive Chairman until the club have found a new CEO. Last week the Clarets lost another key person at their organization.

Almost 10 months after it was announced that Shaun Harvey had stepped down as CEO at EFL the League today announced the name of his successor.

And it was a well-known profile to most people in English football, David Baldwin, who was announced as the new leader at the headquarter in Preston.
