While English football considers wage deferrals, a string of German clubs waives player and management salaries
PA Images | Leipzig said their professional players had foregone a double-digit percentage of their salaries.
RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, Hertha Berlin and Mainz follow other German clubs which have committed to temporary wage reductions.
The EFL, Premier League, PFA and LMA met Wednesday to discuss player wages but failed to make any decision on the matter.
