Despite narrowly missing first place in the Premier League this year (the difference being a few points), there is nothing but praise from Liverpool’s chairman, Tom Werner, for the club’s performance. In an interview after the last match against Wolves, Tom Werner addressed the Reds’ season.

“It was a magical season,” Werner said according to goal.com.

“Obviously we’re disappointed that we didn’t win the league, but it was a remarkable season and the squad is exciting.”
