Every possible scenario must be reviewed, and all advantages and disadvantages weighed up," said chairman of Bremen's board, Marco Bode

The club have voted against the German Football League's (DFL) proposal of declaring the Bundesliga table final if the season is abandoned before time.

Bremen, in 17th place, are ready to examine all possibilities and say a decision should only be made if the issue becomes relevant.

Werder Bremen have rejected the German Football League's (DFL) proposal of declaring the Bundesliga table as final in case the season is not able to be completed.

The DFL earlier this week said it wanted a champion to be crowned and relegates to be decided in both the 1st Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga if the season is suspended again. The Bundesliga, having been granted permission by the German government, will become the first European league to reconvene on 16th May.
