The club's players, coach team and management have agreed to a temporary reduction of their salaries, according to the club's managing director.
Having been initiated by the players' council, the size of the reduction has not yet been discussed.
Werder Bremen's players, coach team and management have agreed to a temporary reduction of their salaries to help the club keep down costs - a bid to offset lost income resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.
The duration of the ongoing disruption is still difficult to determine, but serious financial implications are expected and many football clubs will have to make sacrifices to save their businesses.
