Watford with new manager for the fourth time since Premier League return in 2015
9 September 2019
Quique Sanchez Flores returns to Watford to take over as head coach.
Looking at their careers, however, Sanchez Flores has the higher points average of the two, with Flores averaging 1.49 points to Gracia's 1.35.
The newly appointed manager was in charge at Watford in the club's first year back in the Premier League.
With only a single point in four matches, Watford announced the departure of their manager, Javi Gracia, this weekend.
Just 30 minutes later, Watford announced the return of Quique Sanchez Flores as his replacement.
This is the fourth time Watford have changed their manager since the club returned to the Premier League in 2015.
"The 54-year-old returns to Vicarage Road, having guided Watford to a comfortable mid-table finish during the 2015/16 campaign," Watford wrote in a statement.
