Watford’s new shirt deal is massive compared to the previous

Watford exercise break clause to sign new shirt deal worth a lot more than the previous deal.

Bournemouth shirt sponsorship extension is also a nice lift compared to the value of the “old” deal.

Watford exercised a break clause with their shirt sponsors to sign a club-record deal with Sportsbet.io worth £20 million, offthepitch.com understands.

It is believed the club’s new three-year deal averages out at £6.5 million per year, plus success-related bonuses.

Sources close to the deal say that while the agreement is for three years, there is the option to terminate the deal a year early.
