US lawyer Joe Tacopina: 'Investing in SPAL was an opportunity too good to pass up'

Tacopina is a high-profile lawyer who has defended music and sport stars and previously invested in Italian clubs AS Roma, Bologna and Venezia.

Last August, he took majority control of Serie B club SPAL. He plans to grow commercial revenues and return the club to the top flight following a "fiscally responsible" strategy.
