Turkish clubs deep in debt while struggling with profitability

All the big four Turkish clubs have published their financial statements for the 2020/21 season, which was the first season fully impacted by Covid.
Following a good 2018/19 season, the pandemic seems to have played its part in the club’s operating losses.
Moreover, the clubs are becoming increasingly indebted and have accumulated financial obligations among the highest in Europe.
