Blackburn double recruitment investment: “There has to be an element of flexibility, that the owners are aware of”

The Rovers’ manager, Tony Mowbray, has made it clear that recruitment is key to the club’s future success.

According to Mowbray, the club have doubled the budget in terms of talent investments.

Mowbray also underlined that the owners are on board with the scouting plan.

Blackburn’s manager, Tony Mowbray, has gotten the green light to double the budget for investment in new talents.

The manager has apparently had a successful meeting with the club’s Indian owners, making good on his promise in April to discuss the budget for scouting by the end of the season. 

“Recruitment is going to be key,” Mowbray told the Lancashire Telegraph.

“We’re investing heavily in recruitment, probably doubled our budget in terms of investment in that,” he added.
