After three years, the Checkatrade Trophy is gone, and journalists, stadium announcers, fans, and many others, will have to get used to calling the EFL Trophy by its new name:

Getting the naming rights for the trophy, which some fans might also remember as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy or the LDV Vans Trophy, was significant, David Timmis, the managing director of Leasing.com, told offthepitch.com.
