Expert: Success of a Spanish/Italian broadcasting deal will rely on Serie A-channel

Several media outlets have reported that Spanish TV production group MediaPro has offered Serie A a deal worth €1.15 billion per year, which would create an in-house Serie A channel controlled by the clubs. 

According to Frank Dunne, chief football writer for the SportBusiness Group, and a long-time expert on media rights in sport, it will be important that as many people as possible have access to the channel:
