Real Madrid knocks out Manchester United as world’s most valuable brand

Manchester City, Liverpool and Spurs have all seen brand value growth of over 18 per cent.
Three English clubs have seen their brand value decrease.
17 out of 50 most valuable club brands are English.
Despite finishing third in this year’s La Liga, Real Madrid have retaken the crown as the world’s most valuable football brand, according to the latest report by Brand Finance, an independent brand valuation consultancy.
The company has valued Real Madrid’s brand at £1.416 billion, which is an increase of more than 25 per cent from last year, when the brand was valued at £1.129 billion.
