With last month’s acquisition of Genoa and their existing stake in Sevilla, 777 Partners are the latest US alternative investment fund to enter European football. They follow Ares (Atletico Madrid), Oaktree (Inter Milan), Singer Group (AC Milan), McCourt (Marseille), Red Bird (Toulouse), CVC (LaLiga), West Ham (GSO) with others expected to enter the market.
And with plans to buy additional clubs - the group are “actively” looking at potential investments in England and eastern Europ
