McCabe's first application to appeal against Blades ownership ruling has been refused

Getty Images | Having listened to 19 days of evidence, Justice Fancourt ruled in three minutes that Kevin McCabe must sell his 50 per cent shareholding in Sheffield United to Prince Abdullah for £5 million.

Prince Abdullah won the ownership battle of Sheffield United last month with a High Court ruling in his favour.

Former owner Kevin McCabe's first application to appeal against the ruling has been refused.
