Sheffield United co-owner forced to sell his shares for just £5 million following High Court verdict
Getty Images | "This morning, the High Court issued its judgement requiring Sheffield United Limited to sell its shares of Blades Leisure Limited to me and dismissing all of the claims which SUL has made against my and my lawyer, Mr Yusuf Giansiracusa," Prince Abdullah's statement read.
The High Court delivered its judgement on the ownership of Sheffield United Monday before noon.
Co-owner Kevin McCabe has been forced to sell his shares to Prince Abdullah.
The two had a falling out in 2017 with both parties wanting to take control of the club.
McCabe feels "a deep sense of betrayal and is in a state of shock."
