Portuguese Vitor Matos will step into a role as link between the club's academy and first team, according to the London Evening Standard.

The 31-year-old has been working as the assistant coach of Porto's reserves since 2018, first joining the club as an opposition scout in 2011.

Liverpool are set to hire Portuguese Vitor Matos as the club's link between the academy and the first team, according to the London Evening Standard.

Matos has been working as the assistant coach of Porto's reserves since 2018, though he first joined the club as an opposition scout in 2011.
