Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp agree to contract extension until 2024

Photo: Getty Images Klopp is the third-longest-serving manager currently in the Premier League and has overseen a points average of 2.04 per game since joining the club in October 2015.

The highly popular manager will make his stay at Liverpool the longest of his career, if he sees out the contract.

Klopp's assistant managers, Peter Krawietz and Pepijn Lijnders, have also signed contract extensions until 2024.

Following four years of continuous improvement, Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp have agreed to a contract extension which will see the German prolong his stay at the club until 2024. 

Under Klopp, Liverpool have reached three consecutive European tournament finals, winning the Champions League last year, when they also recorded a club-record 97-point tally in the Premier League.
