14 April 2020
Ralf Rangnick, the head of sport and development at the German club, expects costs associated with transfer fees and salaries to take a dip as a result of the pandemic.
The in-demand former manager also denied reports linking him with a role at AC Milan.
The coronavirus pandemic could bring positive change for the football industry, according to RB Leipzig's head of sport and development, Ralf Rangnick, though he remains convinced the crisis will have far-reaching consequences for the sport.
"The current situation will affect the amount of the transfer fees, the consultant fees and the salaries to be renegotiated. The transfer market will be different after the crisis," Rangnick, 61, told German TV programme Sport-im-Osten-Talk.
