LaLiga in joint venture with rights agency and broadcaster to boost commercial capabilities in China

The Spanish league intends to study new ways of doing business in China.
Operating across China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, the firm has been established for an initial period of 15 years.
LaLiga has entered into a joint venture with rights agency Mediapro and Chinese broadcaster and sports asset firm Super Sports Media to boost the Spanish league's commercial capabilities in China.
The move represents an important step for LaLiga's growth in China, according to the director of the league in the country and chief executive of the new company, Sergi Torrents.
