The league has announced a multi-year partnership with Verizon - exclusive to the United States.

North America is a "key growth region" for La Liga, which is increasingly reaching beyond Spain's borders.

La Liga has announced a multi-year partnership exclusive to the United States with telecommunications company Verizon. 

The deal exemplifies the growing battle for dominance of the American market, with several teams recently making major moves. Atletico Madrid are funding the creation of a football club in Canada, Liverpool have already established an academy in the US, and PSG in February announced that they were opening another academy in the country.
