Swansea's pre-tax loss more than doubled that of the previous season.
Having adjusted their business in accordance with the realities of tenure in the Championship, Swansea significantly decreased their expenses in the 2018/19 season, a review of the club's financial accounts reveals.
The season was a challenging one
Relegated from the English top flight in the 2017/18 season, Swansea's turnover fell from £126.8 million to £68.2 million, largely due to lower broadcasting income, which fell by more than 50 per cent to £51.6 million.
