Riverside Stand at Craven Cottage will be transformed and will house restaurants, a gym and rooftop swimming pool.

The stand was fully demolished this week, and the reconstruction is now ready to begin.

The project will also mean an expansion to increase the stadium's capacity, but according to the club's owner, it will transcend football by becoming a London attraction.

An ultra-modern design will see Craven Cottage's Riverside Stand transformed into a new local attraction, with construction set to be completed by 2021 at a cost of £80 million.

In May this year, Fulham confirmed that the Riverside Stand would be demolished, but back then the stadium renovation was delayed with no further explanation.
