His position, however, has not been so predictable: CEO of the company in charge of the Indian Super League.

Bain has more than 25 years of experience in football.

The former Sunderland CEO, Martin Bain, has returned to football. No great surprise there. But his new position takes him halfway around the world to the most unexpected of places: Bain is now the CEO of Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), the company in charge of running the Indian Super League.
