Financial report: Almost 90 per cent of Bournemouth's income is derived from the Premier League

Relegation to the Championship for Bournemouth, currently in 18th place, would be catastrophic for their business, the club's just-published financial report has revealed. 

In the 2018/19 season, 88 per cent of the club's £131.1 million in turnover stemmed from Premier League income, with just £15.5 million in revenue from matchday (£5 million), commercial (£9.7 million) and other revenue streams.
