Arsenal have never won a European match against another English club (two draws and four losses), but after finishing fifth in the Premier League they will need a win to enter next year’s Champions League.

Chelsea won two consecutive European Cups - Champions League in 2012 and Europa League in 2013. The Gunners’ European success dates back to 1994, when they won the Cup Winners’ Cup.

The Blues starlet Eden Hazard has not scored in ten European club appearances, but his last goal was scored in Baku against Qarabag in a 4-0 win in 2017.

The Europa League final will be played at Baku Olympic Stadium with a capacity of nearly 70,000 and located 2,465 miles southeast of London.
