Financial head-to-head Stoke v Bristol City

Catastrophically, Stoke have just a single point after the opening six fixtures, and their manager, Nathan Jones, will no doubt be feeling the heat after last year ended with a disappointing 16th place for the formerly stable Premier League team. 

Both teams won away against the other last season and, finding themselves currently in fifth place with 11 points, Bristol City will be feeling confident.

Bristol City were one of the league's top spenders this summer, paying out £25.1 million in transfer fees, while Stoke had expenses of a little over £6 million.
