This year's summer transfer window will be allowed to open before the season is actually concluded, FIFA has announced, as part of a series of temporary amendments to its regulatory framework.

The changes come after FIFA conducted 13 different workshops with representatives from its member associations, confederations, the World Leagues Forum, and the European Club Association, to address the regulatory and legal issues which have arisen from the coronavirus pandemic.
