At the end of each month, will bring you news of the latest job changes in the football industry.

Focusing on off-pitch executives from clubs in the Big 5 European leagues, we’ll bring you a confirmed list of those who have left their role and others who have grabbed a new job.

Head coach Quique Setién has already left FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi wants to leave following the club’s 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. And those aren’t the only staffing changes at the Nou Camp this month.

Technical director Eric Abidal, who played nearly 200 times for Barca, had his contract terminated by mutual consent and been replaced by Ramon Planes. Planes, who has worked at clubs including Spurs, Espanyol and Getafe, had been Abidal’s assistant since June 2018.
