EURO 2020 postponed until next year

The decision was made following videoconference meetings held on Tuesday with the presidents of the 55 national associations, representatives of the European Club Association, European Leagues and FIFPro Europe.

Priority has been given to complete the domestic season, currently postponed until at least 3rd April.

A working group has been set up with the participation of leagues and clubs to examine calendar solutions.

UEFA will do their best to ensure funding for grassroots, women's football and the development of the game is not impacted by the "huge cost" of the decision.
