Deutsche Bank to become Eintracht Frankfurt's new stadium naming rights sponsor

Photo: PA Images Eintracht Frankfurt was in January granted a 15-year extension on their leasing contract for the Waldstadion, as it was formerly known, by the local city council.

The German bank will take over from Frankfurt-based Commerzbank, one of its rivals, from next season.

Frankfurt city council is planning to expand the capacity of the club's stadium by 8,500 seats.

Deutsche Bank will become Eintracht Frankfurt's new stadium naming rights sponsor from the 2020/21 season, according to the German magazine Kicker.

The German bank will take over from Commerzbank, one of its rivals, which is based in Frankfurt.
