Coronavirus: Credit agency downgrades Inter and Roma rating

Standard & Poor's says the financial consequences of the coronavirus pandemic will be felt on the clubs' balance sheets.
The credit rating agency does not expect a threat to the clubs' ability to pay their bills.
American credit rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) has downgraded its ratings of Inter Milan and AS Roma as the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc on clubs' finances.
The Serie A has been suspended indefinitely and it is unclear when and if the current campaign will ever come to its conclusion, meaning huge financial uncertainty has been cast on clubs in Italy – as in most other countries.
