With the prospect of a shaken-up telco industry, the future of adjacent businesses such as BT Sport is up in the air.

Labour plans to provide free broadband across the UK within the coming decade.

If Labour is serious about the proposal, it could weaken the Premier League negotiating position.

The impact on Sky would be smaller due to a different business model.
